Daleville Church of the Brethren    

Our teachers use Art Foundations and other hands-on projects to reinforce the lessons being taught.  We believe that the children should interact with the members of the Congregation of all ages to teach them respect of their fellow man and to allow them to become familiar with the values of the Church.

Community Events

A community Children's Easter Party was held on  Saturday, March 15th from 2:00-4:00pm.   Children and adults all enjoyed the festivities.  Please check out the pictures here.   Thanks to all who helped make this event memorable.

The Rainforest Adventure Vacation Bible School was held on June 14th.  The fellowship hall was transformed into a Rainforest of Adventure.  The children learned about Howler Monkeys, Red Eyed Tree Frogs, a Chestnut-Mandibled Toucan, Blue Morpho Butterfly and the Green Winged Macaw! 

The children made their own Toucan masks, a rainforest garden, rainsticks, and frog magnets.  They heard about animals of the forest and their habitat.   "Baby birds" were fed gummy worms in their nests, games were played, and they ended the day learning a skit and songs to sing for Worship on Sunday morning.
